Types of Cloud Computing Services
There are a few different types of cloud computing services available, allowing organizations to choose a solution that works for their needs.
Public Cloud Computing
Public clouds are owned and managed by third-party cloud service providers. These providers are responsible for all of the hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Your organization can manage its cloud account through a web browser. A public cloud is shared among several organizations.
Private Cloud Computing
As compared to public clouds, private clouds are used exclusively by a single organization on a private network – they are not shared with other organizations. Private clouds can be hosted by third-party cloud service providers or be physically located at an organization’s data center.
Hybrid Cloud Computing
Hybrid clouds are a combination of both public and cloud computing – current technology allows sharing of data and applications between both types of cloud. This type of cloud computing helps optimize your organization’s existing infrastructure by allowing for more flexibility and deployment options.
